This shot made me nervous. It was around other humans in the 14th Factory. A wonderful art show that had a few rooms with an “Anything Goes”, style policy when it came to pictures. Which is a super cool idea, and obviously damaging the art in any way is not allowed. But a headstand was. My palms were sweaty, because the first part of the headstand is a little unflattering as I flip the skirt over my head and stick my ass in the air. But I am an artist and I know the importance of getting out of your head, ignoring your ego, and letting go of all the social preservation systems that are wired deep inside of us. Cheers to 3 minutes of bravery.
